Yes, because sometimes even the dead earnest urban explorers get bored with the regular, serious and dignified sightseeing... Sometimes abandoned places simply ask for a little bit of fooling around for a change... let's play post apo... ;)
Anyway, the point is, derelict buildings of any sort can be truly inspiring and charming spot for plenty various activities such as LARPs and airsoft games, but also photo sessions, especially post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk or industrial style. Decorated with usually weird and spooky street art, those foresaken sites more and more often attract even those who are normally not interested in urbex, but desire to have their photo shoots taken in more unusual environment, aestheticly appealing, but in different, more fresh and intriguing way...

Car Repair Workshop in Gdańsk - Oliwa
This fairly easy to access and effortless exploration site is interesting in particular because of it's pleasing location. Surrounded by large forest, quite distant from the most inhabited part of Oliwa district, this rather wide and open-air area with relatively small number of buildings, is a perfect spot for more relaxing and less bone-chilling urbex. The whole workshop consists of several small industrial buildings with barely any artifacts left inside. It's hard to say for how long this place has been abandoned, as well as, if was it really a repair shop (however it appears so, considering on the look of some buildings) because there are hardly any information about this site anywhere.

Psychiatric Ward in Gdańsk - Oliwa
This place is considered to be one of the most creepy abandoned buildings in Poland. The mental institution was a part of still existing Navy Hospital in Gdańsk old district Oliwa. The vintage villa (one of many other buildings that type in this neighborhood), located on the Navy Hospital's premises, was used as a mental institution between 1970's and 1990's. Since then the building has been forsaken, and unfortunately as many other spots that sort, was (and still is) being devastated by bums and squatters, so most of the interesting artifacts are long gone. The site is quite a challenge to enter as it's surrounded by fully functional hospital buildings, guarded by security and medical staff. Which obviously makes it even more thrilling :)
